I love this time of year. I love the cooler weather, the long walks, and the urge to bake and fill up the house with smells from all those wonderful comfort foods. I love the perfect weekends of togetherness and outside time. This past weekend was one of those perfect weekends, especially Saturday. We took the kids to the circus on Saturday and I honestly can't tell you which I was more excited about, watching the circus or watching our kids watching the circus. Seeing your kids so excited and happy is one of the best things in the world!

We also hit up Old Settlers that evening. Seeing Jett on his first ride and watching his dimpled face going in circles on the motorcycles yelling "Hi Mom!" almost made me cry. Where did my little baby go? ![]()
Watching Jessica dance and sing to the pop songs while waiting in line, again made me think "Where did my little girl go? When did she get so big?" They grow up so quickly, I feel like since we've had kids life has started moving in fast forward! ![]()

Fall also means back to school. Jessica is in 4th grade this year and loving it so far. She has made a lot of new friends and she is getting involved with extra activities. This is her first year of volleyball and she really loves it.
